Review the terms that apply to accounts, purchases, software access, refunds, privacy and third-party technology.
These Terms & Conditions apply to the purchase, download, installation and use of Customizable Desktop Assistant (“the Software”). By purchasing, downloading or using the Software, you agree to these Terms.
Before public sales begin, the checkout and legal pages must show the seller’s correct legal or trading name, required address details and contact information.
An account is required to purchase, download and receive customer-only updates. You must provide accurate account information and keep your login credentials secure.
You must not intentionally share your account credentials to give another person access to paid downloads or licences.
A valid purchase gives the purchaser a limited, personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to use the purchased edition of the Software, subject to these Terms.
Buying the Software does not transfer ownership of our proprietary source code, original branding, original designs or other proprietary intellectual property.
Unless we give written permission, you must not:
These restrictions apply to our proprietary material. Third-party and open-source components remain governed by their own licences, and nothing here removes rights granted by those licences or by law.
Purchases are attached to the account used at checkout. Payment processing may be handled by a third-party payment processor. We do not need to store complete card details on this website when a hosted payment processor is used.
If a payment is reversed, refunded or successfully disputed, access connected to that payment may be withdrawn where lawful.
Updates released for the edition you purchased are intended to be available through the official customer account area without an additional update fee.
A separately sold future product, separately branded product or new paid edition is not automatically included unless we specifically say otherwise.
Customers should download updates only through the official account area or another official source identified by us.
AI-generated responses can be incomplete, incorrect or outdated. Important information should be checked before relying on it.
The Software is not a guaranteed source of professional legal, medical, financial, emergency or safety-critical advice.
Some features may interact with supported applications, files, settings, microphones, cameras or other computer functions. You are responsible for the permissions you grant and for keeping appropriate backups of important files.
Do not ask the Software to perform an action you would not be comfortable carrying out manually yourself.
Some functions may rely on third-party software, models, operating-system functions, APIs or online services. Those third parties may apply their own licences, terms, privacy policies, availability limits or charges.
Third-party products can change or become unavailable. We cannot promise that every external integration will remain available forever.
You must not use the Software to break applicable law, gain unauthorised access to another person’s device or account, intentionally distribute malware, deliberately damage systems, or unlawfully bypass security or licensing controls.
Our proprietary Software code, original branding, original website materials and original project assets remain owned by their respective project owner(s). Third-party names, software, models and assets remain owned by their respective rights holders.
Access to our proprietary paid distribution may be suspended or terminated where a user materially breaches these Terms, including unauthorised redistribution of paid proprietary copies, subject to applicable law.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not promise that every feature will always be uninterrupted, error-free or compatible with every third-party program, service, driver or computer configuration.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability, remedies or consumer rights where the law does not allow them to be excluded or limited.
The Software and these Terms may be updated as the project develops. Material changes should be communicated appropriately. Changes do not remove mandatory rights that already apply under law.
Support is available through the official Discord ticket system and by email at keeveboyle4@gmail.com. Customers may be asked for reasonable information needed to investigate a problem.
This section must be completed before launch with the correct seller identity, required business address information and governing-law wording for the business and customers being served. Mandatory consumer protections continue to apply where required.
Except where applicable law requires otherwise, purchases are final once digital supply begins.
Where a customer has a legal cancellation right for digital content, immediate supply should begin only after the customer expressly requests immediate supply and acknowledges that beginning supply may end that cancellation right.
If you believe the Software is genuinely faulty, not as described or otherwise gives you a mandatory consumer remedy, contact support through Discord or email.
We may request reasonable information such as your account/order details, screenshots, video, error messages or technical information needed to investigate the issue.
Where appropriate and permitted by law, we may first try to resolve the issue through troubleshooting, repair, an update or a replacement download.
If the issue cannot be appropriately resolved and you are entitled to a refund, price reduction or another remedy under applicable law, that remedy will be provided.
Once a UK digital-content refund is agreed as due, it should be processed without undue delay and within the time limit required by law, normally using the same payment method unless the customer agrees otherwise.
The website may store account identifiers, email address, account status, purchase entitlement, release/download access information, support communications and consent records required for checkout.
Do not submit passwords, payment-card numbers or other secrets through support tickets or ordinary email.
Authentication may be provided through email/password or Google sign-in using our authentication provider. Password handling and OAuth authentication are performed through that provider rather than being stored as plain text by this website.
Payments may be processed using a hosted payment provider. The website may receive payment status and transaction identifiers needed to unlock or revoke a purchase entitlement, but complete card details should be handled by the payment provider.
Account and purchase data may be used to provide sign-in, verify purchases, show customer-only downloads, provide updates, investigate support requests, prevent unauthorised redistribution and meet legal or accounting requirements.
Authentication, database, file storage and payment services may process data under their own privacy terms. The final release should list the providers actually in use and link to the relevant privacy information.
Privacy-related questions can be sent to keeveboyle4@gmail.com. Before public launch, add any additional information required by the privacy laws that apply to the business and its customers.
